Psychology

What makes you you? What makes people do the things they do?

If these questions interest you, you’ll love this class. Over the course of the semester, you’ll grapple with these questions as apprentice scientists—a skill that will benefit you through school and beyond.

As an introduction to the scientific study of human brains and behaviors, we’ll cover everything from the organization of brain cells to the psychology of social media, as well as the scientific thinking required to make psychological discoveries.

If you’re interested in learning about memory, vision, brain development, stress, aggression, fear and love, you’re in the right class.
